St. Cecilia Parish and School are closely monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation within our community. We are following all mandated and recommended courses of action from the state and local governments as well as the recommendations from Bishop Brennan and the Diocese of Columbus. The situation is changing daily, and we will make every effort to update this page as changes arise.
On July, 8, 2020, Ohio Governor Mike DeWine mandated that face coverings should be worn in all public indoor areas in Franklin County. Facial coverings are also required in all outdoor public spaces in which 6 ft social distancing cannot be maintained. This mandate is for all persons age 10 and older, unless a medical condition exempts them from wearing a mask. This mandate is also required for any persons attending 'religious services' in Franklin County. In light of this, the Diocese of Columbus is asking that all persons age 3 and older attending Mass must wear a face mask. Please remember that the Bishops of Ohio have continued the Dispensation to attend weekend Masses indefinitely until the spread of COVID-19 is no longer a risk.

At this time, all Masses, including daily and weekend Masses, have resumed at their normal times. For anyone still uncomfortable attending in-person Masses, the Bishops of Ohio have extended the dispensation to attend Sunday Masses indefinitely until the spread of COVID-19 is no longer a risk. To read a listing of the guidelines and procedures for attending Mass, please click here. We will continue to record weekend Masses at St. Cecilia for those individuals who prefer to watch from home. To view any of the pre-recorded Masses, please go to our Parish YouTube channel here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCtW6f7AIn3NauP25aBKnIkw
The parish office is now open. Staff members will be in the office Monday through Friday from 9:00am - 4:00pm. For the health and well-being of our parishioners and staff, we are discouraging any visitors from coming into the office. If possible, please continue to conduct any business with our staff by telephone or email during these office hours. If you need to come to the office, we ask that you call first to let us know that you are coming (614-878-5353). Visitors will not be permitted into the office area, but you are welcome to stop by to drop off offertory envelopes, correspondence, or other items for members of our staff in a box located in the waiting area just inside the parish office entrance. For the safety of all, anyone entering the office is asked to wear a face mask.
We have received inquiries about how people might get us their Sunday offerings. We are very appreciative of this and share that they can be mailed to the Parish Office (434 Norton Road, Columbus, OH, 43228). You can also give electronically through our online giving company, Faith Direct. For more information on how you can give electronically, please click here.
Status of Parish Events
Limited in-person activities and meetings may resume at the parish as long as recommended CDC guidelines can be followed, including social distancing.
