»  PARISH STRATEGIC DEVELOPMENT PLAN

OVERVIEW

Parish & School Development (PSD) initiative provides a new focus for St. Cecilia with clear, specific and prioritized initiatives that will carry the parish and school development efforts forward.

This initiative concentrates on several key areas that have been identified by the Core Team and other leaders in the St. Cecilia community, and offers a focused plan for the current and future development efforts of the parish and school.
 

Implementation Teams – Initial Plans:

Communication Team

• Improve parish & school websites

• Improve all communication vehicles at St. Cecilia

Governance and Finance Team

• Expand the TRIP program within the parish & school family

• Evaluate BINGO as long term funding source for the parish

Image Building and Outreach Team

• Organize & implement two Town Hall Meetings per year

• Develop a comprehensive constituent database for the parish

Student Retention and Recruitment Team

• Create & implement a school marketing & recruitment plan

• Plan & implement parent ambassador teams

Stewardship Team

• Evaluate, improve & coordinate annual Time & Talent survey

• Develop & implement a parish ‘Chore Tree’

• Core & Implementation Teams are comprised of a diverse mix of over 40 parishioners involved on many aspects of parish & school life.

• Core & Implementation teams meet monthly and will provide ongoing updates to the parish on progress toward our goals.
