Children's Liturgy of the Word

Children's Liturgy of the Word is a wonderful program that offers this critical part of the Mass on a level that is geared to the understanding of young children, ages 4 through 12. During this brief time, the children leave the main congregation to attend Children's Liturgy, they hear the reading proclaimed in a full, yet simpler form, engage in an interactive discussion of what the readings mean for us as Catholics, pray the Creed, and offer intercessions that are important to them. This program is offered during the 9:30 a.m. Mass from September through mid-May, excluding holiday weekends.
