Many of you may have recently received a letter from Bishop Fernandes inviting you to participate in The Appeal, our diocese’s annual effort to support the mission and ministries that serve all 23 counties in the Diocese of Columbus.

This year’s Appeal continues to fund vital programs through four foundational pillars:

• Evangelization – Spreading the Gospel and strengthening parish life
• Vocations – Supporting seminarians and the formation of our future priests
• Education and Faith Formation – Catholic education and lifelong faith learning
• Social Doctrine – Outreach to the poor, vulnerable, and marginalized

These ministries extend far beyond the boundaries of any one parish. They are a reminder that we are all part of something greater — a Church “Together in Mission.”  Here at St Cecilia, we are called to do our part. Every parish is asked to participate so that the diocese can continue to serve and grow. No gift is too small, every act of generosity makes a difference. St. Cecilia is still $39,696 away from making our Appeal goal of $118,979.  Please prayerfully consider how you can support The Appeal this year.
