Festival Clean Up

This year’s parish festival is one that will be remembered for many years to come! Record rainfall, high winds, endless amounts of mud, and even a tornado warning definitely gave us some challenges.  Despite the weather, our parish family came together like always and made the best of the situation. We are so grateful for all of our volunteers who ‘weathered the storms’ and provided an experience for our community that they will probably be talking about for quite some time.

Clean up of the festival was complicated yesterday and today with continuing storms.  The weather forecast looks better for tomorrow, so we are asking for many volunteers to meet at the parish beginning at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday evening to help put away the remaining festival supplies.  The ground is still very muddy, and we will be doing a lot of carrying of items from the field to the parking lot, so please wear appropriate shoes and clothing for the messy work.

THANK YOU for all that you do to make St. Cecilia a wonderful parish to be a part of!
