Interested in becoming a Catholic? Or do you know someone who has expressed an interest in the Catholic Church? Or, are you currently a practicing Catholic who would like to learn more about the Catholic Faith with other adults in a safe and comfortable group setting? We welcome you ALL to our OCIA process!
What is the OCIA Process? There are many people who are searching for a deeper spiritual life and identification with a community of faith. The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) is the Catholic Church’s way of inviting just such people to join us. Many people practice the religion they were raised with throughout their lives. Others may never have had any religion in their lives at all, while still others, in a search for deeper meaning, choose to change to a different religion. To all of these people, the Catholic Church extends a personal invitation through the OCIA process.
If you would like to know more about the process – dates, times, explanation of the process, and expectations, please contact our Parish Office.
